A is for ALWAYS AND FOREVER
Kéllé: That's the name of our first album, which has now gone quadruple platinum (ie: it's sold well over a million copies!)

B is for 'BERNIE'
Kéllé: In Japan and Malaysia, they can't pronounce Vernie's name very well, so they call her 'Bernie'!
Vernie: And I never bother to correct them because they're all so sweet.

C is for COMING OF AGE
Vernie: I think we've all grown up a lot since the first album.

D is for DENIS
Easther: Denis Ingoldsby, our manager, is a huge influence in our lives and he's stuck by us since day one.
Kéllé: And he makes us laugh all the time.

E is for EASTHER
Vernie: She's my sister.
Kéllé: And she's got a lot of love to give.

F is for JEAN FRANCOIS
Kéllé: He's the MD of our record company, EMI - a French guy with a lot of je ne sais quoi! He's given us a lot of support.

G is for GERMANY
Easther: Germany is one place we need to tour and build up our fan base. It's not that they don't know us well over there...
Kéllé: It's just they're into different music, so we have to work much harder.

H is for HOT CHOCOLATE
Kéllé: We don't drink tea or coffee, just hot chocolate. We love it!

I is for INFLUENCES
Kéllé: I'd say George Clinton (famous and eccentric soul/funk bloke).
Easther: And gospel.
Vernie: We met Luther Vandross recently and he's cool.
Kéllé: And we saw Jodeci - they're good, too.

J is for JAPAN
Vernie: We love Japan - the people there are so friendly and cute.
Easther: They're so loving and kind and sort of, like, timid.
Kéllé: Except when they go to concerts, then they have a wild time.
Easther: I love Oriental things. Whenever I'm in Japan, I go shopping mad.

K is for KéLLé
Vernie: She's the one who can't keep her body still - she's a real party animal.

L is for LOVE
Easther: It's what we sing about.
Kéllé: And there's nothing wrong with singing about love!

M is for MONEY
Easther: Which we don't have!

N is for NEW YORK
Vernie: It's definitely my favourite city. It's alive 24 hours a day and that's one thing you don't get over here.

O is for OCTOBER
Kéllé: Last October was a big month for us because we released our first single as a threesome.
Easther: The amount of support we got for Power Of A Woman was amazing.

P is for POWER OF A WOMAN
Vernie: This is also the name of our album. It's probably got a lot to do with the way we feel about ourselves now. We're a lot stronger than we once were.

Q is for HRH THE QUEEN
Kéllé: We've never met the Queen, but we've met Princess Margaret. I was standing there with Louise and I really wanted to laugh!

R is for REST
Easther: It's what we all need sometimes.

S is for SARA LEE
Vernie: I love her lemon meringue pies!

T is for TIME
Kéllé: People are always wondering how long we're gonna be together, but we leave our time in God's hands.

U is for UMBRELLA
Kéllé: Erm, because it's raining outside.
Easther: You're good at this.
Kéllé: That's because I watch Countdown!

V is for VERNIE
Easther: Vernie's the intellectual and diplomatic one.

W is for WENDY BALDOCK
Kéllé: She works for our management and looks after us.
Easther: She's a darlin' and really pampers us.
Vernie: I think she treats us as a surrogate mother would. We love her.

X is for XENON'S
Kéllé: That's the name of the club where Vernie was spotted by Denis.

Y is for YOUNG, FREE & SINGLE
Kéllé: That's us!
Easther: It's hard to have a relationship when you've got a job like ours.
Vernie: 'Free' and 'single' should be printed in big letters!

Z is for ZILLIONS OF SUPPORT
Easther: When we heard over a million people had gone out and bought our first album, we were so surprised. It was such a good feeling.
